That's kinda spooky. My other half was only just telling me about some desolate place mentioned on the news today, which only has one single tree growing there and a guy in a car managed to hit it!
@FC: I was planning on having a couple of rough cowboys show up, with heavy thumping music blaring, and have the scene devolve into something from 'Rimjob' - that would work, right? right? haha, Nah, I guess not...
Well, if the "hanging in the air" part hadn't been intentional, then her face in panel two pretty much says everything we need to know. Cue the Barry White music...
@Peipei: That seems to be Kimber Lee's goal... Her last name, Luster, I've usually thought of as akin to light, like the Shiny Luster on Gold, but I guess right about now another meaning applies :)
@Banes: haha yes, I tried to build a 'hanging in the air' feel. Now, smooth and soulful... Well they both could use the tension release I think :) @bravo: also... the tree is a good ways from the house, not a straight line of sight, and I guess Kimber Lee would depend on her uber-senses to know if someone was approaching. Hope she can concentrate on that!
YES! Kim must have been missing this...Emilio, too! I don't know if you did this intentionally, but this has been "in the air" for several pages now. Awesome looking page, too...I don't know any artistic tech talk, but I like the more "defined" look personally. Now let's quiet down and play some music for these kids...something smoooooth and soulful...
@bravo1102: Well, I could go M-Rated (considered it) and have my two teen fans just get permission from mummy haha. And for the drone to show right now would just be rude ;)
@FC: Thanks! The fact you can even mention me in the same sentence with 'Capefall' does me wonders. As for the upcoming demo, I'm sure there'll be a few 'sticking points' :D I'm still keeping this T-rated, though - got a couple of 'teens' I know personally reading this (although I feel a T-rating should be a bit more liberal (we can show people getting shot but God forbid there's a nipple-slip!), but I don't make the rules...)
Wow! You are achieving a nice balance between smooth washes and vibrant saturation. Reminds me of some of the watercolor work in Capefall. If the "whistling skill demonstration" is going to be what I think it's going to be, then I hope she has mastered her new powers enough to avoid causing Emilio any accidental injuries ;)

Are we gonna have a little romance here? I love their cute banter here, they are made for each other. :)

You may not make the rules, but feel free to abuse them. ;-) Under a tree in the middle of the day? Isn't this when the surveillance drone shows up?
