I went heavy on this page! With both the words and the paint!
.
Page references to what they're all talking about here:
Emilio and Kimber Lee talking under the tree… 177-178
Ranch getting ‘destroyed’… 185-200
Socorro getting ‘infected’… 198-199
Nephew Eduardo meeting his maker… 245
.
More talking next page… but talking won't last forever!
.
I'm tickled to death for the ‘Most Historically Inspired Outfit’ trophy I won for the ‘Yore Contest’ - I've already added it to my header in my ‘Godstrain Extras’ page (which you can visit by clicking right over there :)… You can also see the the entry I won with there - page is called ‘Kimber Lee the Goddess’ :D
.
Thanks for reading everyone!

@Szyszka: Thanks! Yeah it does - maybe someone will step up!!

@darkace: hehe well actually I use pen and watercolor - but you're right, the same principle applies. If you draw an arm too long you're sorta stuck with with a freak! :D

@Sway: Thank You!

Great expressions, as always :) It looks like everyone is against poor Kimber...

I always admire folks that can paint on canvas. I admit I suck at it. I feel like digital painting is a cheat because you always have the option to erase or go back with a click of a button. I used to try oil painting and my ex-girlfriend would always laugh at me cuz she was really good and mine would look like a 5 year old's compared to hers.

Lost of really lovely facial detailing here. Very dynamic. Impressive work as always.

@Vino: Thank You! Yes I scan in the painted piece and then add the dialogue digitally! I'll also add a little shadow and brighten the hues some after scanning, but overall I largely suck doing art digitally :D

I always LOVE that blue in their hair. I know you must have answered this question before but is your work hand painted with water colors and scanned into dialogue software?
