Very moving chapter, especially the last four panels. Nicely done, Kim.

Great artwork. Carries the scene very well.
KimLuster at 6:13PM, Dec. 13, 2015
@Peipei: Yeah like I said to jgib - the whole thing has been horrible!
KimLuster at 6:10PM, Dec. 13, 2015
@Paul: Comas are one of those scary things; mysterious unknowns; something that seems close to death but... isn't! *shiver*
KimLuster at 5:22PM, Dec. 13, 2015
@jgib99: Yeah, this whole ordeal has been terrible for them!
Peipei at 3:41PM, Dec. 13, 2015
Very sad and very touching page...Those poor boys seeing their mom suffer like this...:(
PaulEberhardt at 2:12PM, Dec. 13, 2015
Yep! This is really, really tough stuff. It kind of makes me remember the time when I was working at a hospital. Seeing people in a coma had always been one of the most scary parts of the job - even more so than moving the recently deceased into the fridge. Moreover, I could tell that each and every coma must have been a little different from individual to individual even if I still don't know how I got that hunch.
jgib99 at 12:04AM, Dec. 13, 2015
Tough page. Feel so bad for the kids.
KimLuster at 3:47PM, Dec. 12, 2015
@El Cid: I've had a friend under go one... I've read a lot about Comas: one of the most fascinating, and disturbing, things humans can undergo!
KimLuster at 3:46PM, Dec. 12, 2015
@Tom: Yeah me too - my character hates me!
KimLuster at 3:45PM, Dec. 12, 2015
@Banes: Thanks!
KimLuster at 3:45PM, Dec. 12, 2015
@FC: *paraphrasing Shrek* We don't have layers like cakes - we have layers like onions! Not cake - Onions!! :D
KimLuster at 3:44PM, Dec. 12, 2015
@Bravo: It's certainly is a mess...! Roswell - good analogy!
KimLuster at 3:42PM, Dec. 12, 2015
@Tupapayon: Chop Suey!!
El Cid at 12:41PM, Dec. 12, 2015
This page was pretty rough. I had a relative go into a two-day coma a year ago. The whole time she was passing in and out of consciousness, mumbling about zebras and airplanes and stuff. When she woke up, she told us the whole time she thought she was on a game show, shouting out answers to trivia questions.
Call Me Tom at 8:12AM, Dec. 12, 2015
Wow this page hit me in the chest.
Banes at 7:25AM, Dec. 12, 2015
Ouch...that one hurts to see. Compelling stuff as always. That's a fantastic first panel, there!
