Interesting that The Godstrain dumps Kimber into a highly-charged, sexual situation right after her big throw down with Eli, who represented a very different and much darker shade of that element. However, it looks like this attempt to prey on any of Kimber's perceived weaknesses in that regard has sorely failed, what with Kimber taking ownership over her new environment (and in a pretty lighthearted sense, to boot).
