“…Not burdened by mundane limitations…” That would've come in handy for the last several dream scenes… Yeah, theoretically, Kimber Lee is still dreaming - this is all in her mind… but dreams and reality have been bleeding together for a while now for her… perhaps reminiscent of quantum indeterminacy..
Speaking of, if anyone finds a problem with this page, the ‘physics of the photon’, how reality might be ‘from a photon’s perspective', please speak your mind, but you might want to wait for the next page before going full frontal assault mode… ;) See if that brings it together in a more agreeable way…
Once again, thanks so much, everyone, for reading, and for nominating me for so many awards - it still feels dreamlike :D

@bravo, I was thinking of the DS9 Prophets too. #nerdalert

Fascinating stuff! And my physics teacher was a golden painted lady who often went topless. Coincidence!
KimLuster at 1:08PM, Aug. 15, 2016
@ashtree: Thanks ladyfriend - Ha, you got nuthin' to be jealous of!! :D
ashtree house at 10:35AM, Aug. 15, 2016
These pages are so pretty, the backgrounds, the glowing Godstrain.. so good at painting, I am so jealous!

@jgib99: Thank You!!
KimLuster at 5:49PM, Aug. 14, 2016
@skyangel: Thanks! I did have a wee worry that it would be too technical, to the point of losing people...! And your thoughts largely mirror my own as I crafted this part of the story a while back...!!
jgib99 at 10:29AM, Aug. 14, 2016
Amazing page as usual. And congrats on all of your nominations.
skyangel at 9:41AM, Aug. 14, 2016
Very technical stuff indeed but also highly absorbing. I'll be spending the week wondering what it is like to be a photon now. My main thought is that were a photon to have a brain it would have one hell of a lot to think about as it stretches over time!
KimLuster at 1:41PM, Aug. 13, 2016
@Barry: Thanks dude !! :D
KimLuster at 1:41PM, Aug. 13, 2016
@dellyo: Thanks for joining in - I think you'll like the next page!!

Beatifully illustrated, Kim. Congrats on all your nominations!

Because of time dilation, the photon exist in all time frames (past, present, future) but to the observer, the photon only exist in the present time frame where the observer first observes the photon. Depending on where the observer is, the sun, the earth, or the moon for example, the observer will see the photon at different times. I think...

@raytoons: that is so cool - how did you know that...?!!
raytoons at 7:40AM, Aug. 12, 2016
Congrats on making the top ten of the SciFi Comics section!
KimLuster at 5:17AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@El Cid: very perceptive as always - let me know your thoughts after next couple of pages..!! :D
KimLuster at 5:14AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@bravo: I cannot remember where that's from... a tv show right...? I can sorta see it in my mind...
KimLuster at 5:12AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@Peipei: Thank You!! Ha I don't mind someone being better than me, but I hate it when they act like they know it too...
KimLuster at 5:11AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@Bravo: Shhh... quit peeking ahead...!!
KimLuster at 5:10AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@Jerrie: Thank You!! I'm pleased to no end that a web comic actually makes you interested in the real stuff..!! Wow...!!
KimLuster at 5:09AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@Genejoke: hehe yeah, but when you start dealing with quantum physics, there's lots of wiggle room!!
KimLuster at 5:06AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@Tupapayon: it waits for no one..

@FC: Like the Godstrain Manifestation said the previous page, It's something we can sort of imagine, but just can't grasp... For the star effects, I did the space background first (along with planet atmosphere and the aura around the Godstrain Girl), let the watercolor dry, and then using a toothbrush and clean water, I wet the bristles, shook them mostly dry, and used my finger to sort flick across the bristles, which caused droplets to land on the paper, let it sit for a few seconds, then 'lifted' the drops back up with a paper towel - it is an awesome trick!!

@Paul: Thank You! Of course, the golden boobies might distract some from paying attention....!!
KimLuster at 4:57AM, Aug. 12, 2016
@plymayer: Thanks! hehe Well I did have this page completed before I got nominated for so many awards!!
El Cid at 9:50PM, Aug. 11, 2016
Makes me think of those space documentaries, where they have those stunning 3D graphics as the camera soars through nebulas and around quasars and such... really, in order to do that -- pan around entire galaxies and nebulas -- you'd need to be going much faster than the speed of light which, even if it were possible, it would distort all the snazzy visuals into gray fuzz. Sort of a bummer.
