Wow, this story is sooo well written! You managed to sell an initially unbelievable concept as something totally realistic. The whole time I was reading I kept thinking how this comic would make a great movie. :D Your storytelling ability is amazing and rarely seen in webcomics - you got me jealous there quite a bit! :)
What an awesome dialogue! You really know how to transmit Kimber Lee's feelings. The most intriguing part is that after all this suffering, she can't find out (at least until now) what the Godstrain is, even now that she has mastered that power.
Hey Avart, thanks so much!! Yeah, even though she's 'met' the Godstrain, talked with it, subdued it, like all metaphysical things, I've always wanted there to be an element of doubt about what it actually is. Even when you can use it to do amazing things. Modern Quantum Theory is very much like that. It baffles our logic, yet we can apply it to so much technology!!
By the way, this comes together so nice. The metaphorical conquering of her trauma feels right, and the outer plot was awesome too. You've got one over on the Babadook!
Thanks! I really hoped the multifaceted-ness of it would work okay!! The Babadook - that is one movie I've always wanted to see but never got around to... I really should - love those premises!!
Wow! I really expected her to lose the power somehow. Really well written stuff here, btw. I guess Eli's foot soldiers reverted to normal without his support? Can't wait to see where Kimber ends up, and of course what's going to happen between her and her husband and kids (I figure that will be one of the last things we learn...and that's why I thought you didn't include the kids and Emilio in Eli's plot. Kim will have to figure that part out without the extraordinary stuff going on around them. Love it).
Thanks so much!! The fate of Eli's spawn will be touched on in the remaining pages (incl, next page - I think you'll like how...) Also, Emilio and the Kids are not forgotten by any means!!

Beautifully scripted page. I love how the story finally explains itself and knits us back into the real world again so nicely. Great stuff!

Aw, I don't know. I'm sure the government have nothing but the best of intentions for Kimber Lee. Great page!!

I'm worried the government will want to kill her.

I suspect that plan isn't at the bottom of the stack!!

Way to go Kimber Lee! I'm worried that the government will try to exploit her abilities, you know how that could go! Very beautiful scene over all!
KimLuster at 7:14AM, May 23, 2017
Thanks Peipei!! That's certainly on Kimber Lee's mind as well, and she'll address it!! Stay tuned!!

It is all coming together. The internal and external battles folding into one another and all coming back to Eli. And now the loose ends.
KimLuster at 7:10AM, May 23, 2017
Yep, those darn loose ends!!

Looks like she's only found herself caught up in a new kind of war.

Yeah... esp. if I decide to do a Godstrain Two!!

Self searching. She has a lot to think about.
