Thanks all! :-) I really didn't think people would have trouble guessing who the character was. I mean he's a supporting character of a character that I'd been told was one of the most well-known fictional characters ever (right up there with Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan & Doctor Who). He was created in the 1940s & is still a supporting character in the main character's books. He had his own spin-off comic from the 1950's to the 1970's. He has, I believe, appeared in almost every media incarnation of the main character (comic books, radio, comic strips, cartoons, TV shows & movies, etc.) The comic I was spoofing was [i]Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen[/i].
