Mayor Crook 6

KAM on March 26, 2012

This joke goes back to the '90s. An elected politician had been shown to have lied on issues, a reporter asked a man on the street about his feelings & the guy said he trusted the politician, which prompted a follow-up question & the guy tried to cover by claiming that knowing the guy was lying just made him trustworthy.

Frankly the guy was probably caught by surprise and had to say something, but I thought up the following explanation to back up the ridiculous statement, and it just stayed in the back of my mind, since the only comic I was doing at the time was rockhound cartoons for my club newsletter.

Recently I remembered this explanation & decided it would make a good cartoon.

Rejoice, the next comic is NOT political!
