one night when i was working at a convinince store this old guy came running in during a snowstorm with nothing on but sneakers, jeans and a t-shirt. bought two jugs of water, a hustler, and a scratch off ticket. just one. he won 500 bucks, grins at me with a "you'll never be able to figure it out" grin and ran off into the night

But not by much, Hogan. You have better odds of surviving a lightening strike than you do of winning the big multi-state US lottery. In fact, surviving two strikes are more likely than winning it. Doesn't stop people from buying in.
