The trouble with getting a new artist is you have to learn all their quirks and how to operate them properly. This costs a lot of time, and effort. In general, it's best to get the existing artist repaired, as that'll be less trouble overall. And, you've no idea if you'll even like having a new artist. :) Some times artists work properly if you just turn them off, for a while, then on again. :)
