Nude Swimming

Somebody on Facebook posted a joy of nude swimming post & this idea came to mind.

And yet despite classy jokes like this I've never won a Drunk Duck Award. Go fig?

Still, some would think that a quick bit of pain as it's bitten off would be better than some things that swim up the urethrae and lock themselves in place with spines. Got to amputate when that happens. And no, it would take more than one bit to amputate it for me!

I suppose a quick "Ow!" and a loss is better than a slow "Ow!" and a loss. Not that either would be pleasant.

@hkmaly: I did not say it was a fish. It is a parasite found in some parts of the world. Trust me when I say that Mother Nature can be a sadistic B!7CH at times.

Bullshit. If that poor fish would really swim up the urethrae, it would die in minutes on lack of oxygen, which would make the spines relax so it would be possible to remove it without amputation.

Work nights. Was watching one of those survival shows a few years back. Just as they were saying the one way to know if it's safe to go into the water with piranha is - got busy at work and missed what they said. The show was re-run. Each time, same thing happened. I ain't getting in the water with piranha.

On the show they clearly were going to say when it was safe. I just missed the essential 30 or so seconds each time. Suppose, I could do a web search....

As I understand it the myth of piranhas being voracious eaters was started by a guy isolating a group in a pool with little food so they were starving when he showed off how dangerous they could be. Still wouldn't want to go in water with them, though. ;-)

Maybe it was the tip about appropriate time - preferably at night and during the rainy season. Avoid piranha-infested waters during the dry season, when food supplies are low and piranhas are more desperate.
