Yes. It's an improvement. It makes the page look more open and dynamic. But maybe try getting a ruler on the job to get those borders straighter? What some people do is to clip or masking tape the paper to a board or table and use a t-square and a set square to get their borders perpendicular, or invest in a rotoring drawing board or a board with a slide rule.
I really like the body language you've used to show the personalities of the characters on this page. Also, that last panel made me laugh out loud!
