I was skeptical reading this at first, expecting a girly manga thing. Mostly kept with it because I like microbraids. But this turned out to be really worth reading!
The art and pacing are beautiful as ever, but I'm really disappointed by this story. I'm going to chalk it up to Scarlet not being as good a taleteller as Arcana or Hellequin. ;)
That was really interesting.. let me see if I got this right... so her dad was probably a werewolf and he accidentally bit her. He ran away because of it and gave her the cross to stop her from turning. This was why she could jump so high when playing basketball....
Reminds me of that Jack Nicholson movie.
