09-03-09 TV The Life Boats!!

Sorry everyone about the wait. I try to get two done a week, but I've been busy with college starting back up. One class fell through, but my job starts Tuesday.
Does this strip stand up to the standard I set in my last several? I have mixed feelings about how “professional” the color job is or isn't. The thief that needs to shave seems to change design slightly between strips and that annoys me. Also, is panel 3 a little too cluttered with text? Just asking. I want to improve, you know. Critiques and opinions appreciated, always and on every strip.
Anyway, see those two burglars? Yeah, we won't be seeing them again for quite some time. As you can guess they were meant to be throw away characters, so I never bothered to explore who they were for the reader. Just know that they are brothers, their mother wanted tubby to a lawyer, and maybe we'll see them return in the future.

Hey, you're reading my comic! Thanks, and for the comment too! Yeah, I'm not certain what's "correct" by the professional standard, so I worry too much about what I'm doing. Also, you know us artists, always bagging on our own work. It's too be expected. Now, not being that way would just throw people off guard, ha ha. But, you're right, the fourth strip was what got me too. I didn't even realized fully that I had done that until I did a comparison. Thanks again for the comment! Without comments I don't know if anyone really likes what I'm doing. I'm glad you're enjoying them!

Hahaha, that was the best. XD You bring me back to the Saturday morning cartoons I loved as a kid with these characters. I personally don't see anything drastic enough to be discomforting in the art. I think it goes very well with the style. The most apparent change in Mr. Patchy Beard Burglar was in the fourth strip, but I think his expression suited the moment, so I didn't even notice until you mentioned it just now. You're doing awesome, Will. Keep it up!
