I really hope by clothes and a haircut she means new dresses and a new 'do, not boys clothes and chopping her lovely locks off! :O But I doubt it. Oh dear.

@queerlyspeaking My thoughts exactly. My mother recently wanted to buy me new pajamas, but I felt horrible as a transguy between the pink and purple Minnie Mouse pajamas (and they are for adults! WTF). All I got was a "I don't understand you, what's your problem!"

That sounds like something I'd do if my mom told me she had a piece of jewelry for me or something. She means well, but she's still in denial about having a trans* kid, and doesn't think of me as a boy yet.
