@StrawberryCheesecake: if I interpret events correctly, Wendy's thinking of what happened in Strip #106, "The Compromise": Wendy wasn't ready to send her child out into the world as a girl, but agreed that *at home*, "I'll call you Sarah. You dress as you like." Since then Sarah's been leaving for school in "boy clothes" at least some of the time, and changing into a dress at Irma's.

Sarah's righteous indignation reminds me of the first time I ever called my mom a barf face. I usually don't anymore, where she can hear me.

Now I wonder, Wendy what is your plan and why does it not involve the Girl Cadettes? (Which reminds me of my days as a wee one when I joined Girl Guides, I wasn't very girly because my best friend at the time would bully me about it (girly=weak in her mind) so the other girls thought I was odd and didn't hang around me. It took me years to realise being girly isn't bad.)
