I can imagine a blow-up, but I can also imagine a scenario along the lines of "Mrs. Irma's Mom" phoning Wendy and excitedly gushing "I'm so proud of you! I always knew you'd come around! We're thrilled to have Sarah in the Cadettes! I want to invite you over to dinner as soon as possible so we can talk about all the exciting events and projects our troop will be doing this year!" and so on and so on with Wendy unable to get a word in but finding the enthusiasm and praise more and more compelling.

I like the morality lesson here concerning criminal acts which harmlessly benefit freedom and goodness :D It will definitely be interesting to see what comes of this at home.
