Well, here's my process: I first ink over my pencil linework with a very fine pigment linner, then add dynamic weight to the lines with a thicker pigment liner. Then I shade using copic. Once I'm done doing the grey tone I get a crow nib pen and just use white ink for highlights, corrections, and edge perservation.
I'm thinking your fancy japanese pen is probably white ink as well. :o
Bagels for breakfast, yummy :3. Man, I still look at all the tones and how cool they look like watercolours. Do you go over the dark bits when you want to highlight something with a white pen? I bought this Japanese pen that acts as a highlighter but the consistency and smell is similar to white-out, just a little thinner.
