One of the problems I had with most of the strips around this time was that I didn't have any dialogue in them, not even people talking to themselves. Dialogue was always my stronger point so the comics without any are pretty weak. They just don't get as much done in a page.

I think that the problem of artwork without dialog is that the art's normal imperfections - minor to significant - that the dialog diverts attention from, is now wholly on its own. Still, you pulled it off about as well as anyone could.
