Meanwhile, in a city nearby… I actually started the comic with this page. When I started sketching it, I didn't know what it was going to be about or who would be in it. The story just started unfolding. After awhile I decided to track back and add the Stunningly Terrific Detective frame.

Some of my favorite stories of mine start out with drawing random scenes. It doesn't take long for the story to gain its own life.
