Yes, random hipster. People do do that, and it is rather awesome in its own way. Not my bag, really- I'm surprisingly vanilla- but I can appreciate it on a philosophic level. More power to people that safely explore consensual kinks and fetishes. Even blood play.

Naturally, blood play has no connection to the fact that one of the characters in the story is a vampire. Honest.
