NEW SITE PRE-LAUNCH!
(The following was posted on the new site today)
Welcome to the new superfogeys.com! We've been working long and hard behind-the-scenes at Th3rd World to give you a reading experience that doesn't make you want to petition the government for a new task force on webcomic site quality control. Well, here's the results.
There's lots to see and do at this new site, and I hope you'll take full advantage of it. Over the next week I'll be highlighting some of the cooler features here in the comments box.
First up, check out that archive system. You'll notice over the top of the strip are pull-down menus that let you easily access whichever strip you're looking for by number and name. To speed up the viewing experience, we've made the entire archive accessible dynamically–you'll notice that the page DOES NOT RELOAD as you flip though. Be sure and have your javascript turned on.
“But what if I want to share a particular strip with my friends?” I hear you ask. Never fear, just click on “Link to this Episode” below the strip to be taken the url with the strip you're viewing. Copy and paste and you're done.
Also, for those of you far more tech-savvy than I (seriously, all credit in the world for this amazing site goes to the guys at Th3rd World), there's an RSS feed there as well.
Please be aware that we are still technically in pre-launch mode and the greater part of the Th3rd World site is not quite fully operational. The url's will all be shifting over to something more permanent with the official launch, but www.superfogeys.com will ALWAYS take you here.
Cellmates
So…why is there a post on a Monday what is “Cellmates?” Well, last week SuperFogeys Collection #3 went off to the printers (you can order your copy today at the SuperFogeys Store) and it features an 11-PAGE bonus story drawn by the phenomenal Chip Skelton (Broken).
“Cellmates” is probably the most fun I've had writing SF and Chip really just brought it to life. This week, on the “off” days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) I'll be presenting the first 3 pages of this story for your viewing enjoyment. If you want the rest of the story…well, you know.
Talk Back
(This is also taken from the new site)
Below you'll find the comment area. This is the place for you to give feedback, ask questions, debate plot points, etc. It's open to everyone and even if you don't have anything to say, I'd love a “hello.” I know that there are lots of readers out there that I've never been able to have contact with and I'd love to know who you are if you have a second.
Enjoy the site everybody! More tomorrow.

NYJ - Wednesday is page two! Page 3 on Friday! After that... ah, you're gonna hate me for not showing you the last 8 pages. chaseman113 - Hello and welcome to the strip! I know exactly how cool the new site is. It's like a dream come true for me. Zeppelins are kind of scary aren't they? I have to say, though, that Chip designed an even cooler vehicle for page 2.

(^U^) Chip !!!! wow!!! I sooooo much want to see what happens next!!!

rufus edge - Whoa! Now there's a man who likes his gum! Fenn - I could watch them all day. Chip made them into something special. Smik - Good point. Would you believe Chip researched Budapest, circa 1968? He did. Chip - A good choice. I much recommend Thog over this "Cellmates" hogwash. amanda - I agree! I would love to work with Chip again on something. I think this turned out better than either of us imagined. All credit to Mad Conk as well for the colors! crazyduck - Two more pages this week, my friend. And you're not gonna like the way these three pages end if it's more you want. Miss Annoying - You write these lines...you never know which way they're gonna land... kavonn - Stupid flamethrowers, indeed. Dawn - I feel very, very fortunate to have Th3rd World at my back. I could not be more pleased with the way the site turned out.

I admit I giggled at "stupid gum" too. I am very envious of your new site, man ;0)
kavonn at 3:27PM, Sept. 15, 2008
Aim a flamethrower from outside. Simple enough. (Not. He's thought of that, I bet. Stupid flamethrowers.)
Miss Annoying at 1:31PM, Sept. 15, 2008
heh heh "stupid gum"

I want to see what happens next so bad I actually clicked the next button, knowing it would take me no wear but sadness.

Invasion of the airships yeaaahh. Great work man
cs3ink at 6:07AM, Sept. 15, 2008
This sucks! I want the regular artist, not this pathetic hack. I'm just gonna read Thog Infinitron instead!
smkinoshita at 6:00AM, Sept. 15, 2008
With all those pointy buildings I'd think the airships are a tactical blunder.
Fenn at 1:04AM, Sept. 15, 2008
Yay for airships!
rufus_edge at 10:11PM, Sept. 14, 2008
Stupid gum? I DEBATE THAT PLOT POINT!
