Lusting for Ginny Weasley - Part One

Just before I get into the intricacies of this newspost-equivalent, I would like to state (for legal reasons) that I have no plans to actually kidnap, stalk, sabotage the freedom of, or breach the human rights of, the actress Bonnie Wright (as well as the Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave members mentioned below). The joke in the strip is purely for the sake of humour, and is in no way a threat or a foreshadowing of real-life events that are yet to come.

That's the legal stuff out of the way. Now for the ranting.

As you may have guessed, this is the first in a multi-part series of strips (known to Penny Arcade viewers as a “dreaded continuity”) celebrating the release of the movie adaption of “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”. This is also the first instance in which Nick's attraction to redheaded girls is ever hinted at - it has not come up in the strips before. Although Nick is one of the least likely people to ever be, as many would put it, star-struck, he has been known to stalk certain actors or musicians, including Rage Against the Machine's Zack de la Rocha and Tom Morello, Audioslave's Chris Cornell, and, as mentioned in the strip, Bonnie Wright. Although he has fought to keep these stalker-ish traits in check (through means of a variety of obscure medications, extensive counselling and courses in electro-shock therapy), he is known to slip up on occasions, in the same way that Dan sometimes goes on vicious killing sprees.

Once again, don't sue!
