Trolling Around

DDamn, Hark and I have been online at coinciding times for a collective twenty minutes these past few weeks. Anyway, we're going to do Gothenreich Chronicles as soon as we can, so next Friday we'll be all caught up. Sorry for the trouble!
In other WCRCOTW news, we have selected a winner for the Plural Bonerage Fan Art Contest! Lance will be posting a fan art page every day, along with his commentary on each, counting down until we get to the winner of the much coveted mug! To see all that good stuff, please head on over to Plural Bonerage!
In any case, neither of us were terribly impressed with Trolling Around. Here's Hark's favorite page, and here's mine.
Agree, disagree? Hit up our forum and let your thoughts be known! We'll be seeing you soon.

@JLG - It's okay, man, I had to figure this out too. I think it's their comic's running theme or gag to give somewhat harsh reviews, but today's review was very tame. And, besides, any advertisement for a webcomic is good advertisement, right? More people now know about this comic than they did before. I really look forward to their review of my comic, especially hoping for a lot of constructive criticism like this to help me improve it.

I have to admit, I've come to lose those puns of Hark's at the end.

Love when people fight for the author when their comic gets put down a bit. Sorry Haps. Nice way to start the review guys.

You know, I've only looked at a few of the strips, but honestly, I'm very puzzled at your reactions to the art. It has its weak points, but it's nowhere near the train wreck this review makes it out to be. Not by a long shot. (Personally, I think it has a certain Sally Cruikshank-ish charm to it.) I'm puzzled because given some of the other strips you've reviewed whose drawings were MUCH less coherent, I'm not sure why this one rubbed you both in the way it does. [shrug.]

Nice review guys, I'd check it out if I didn't have the attention span of a dead squirrel.

I looked at the art, and I can honestly say that I have no idea what this person is going for.

Looks colorful, in any event.

Happy in the dark- If you paid attention to what I said, I enjoyed the writing but didn't like the art. Hardly a horrendous review. Our reviews are based on being entirely honest, and that is what this was. If you cant take criticism, then requesting a review from us (considering some of our past reviews) seems an odd practice. Remember, she ASKED to be reviewed.

This is a horrible review, especially coming from you Harkovast. I thought you were a fan of her work, as you comment often enough. Her art is NOT bad, it's her style. I can tell what everthing is and what is going on. Sometimes the text is small, but I think the text fits the setting of the comic great. Her "slap stick comedy" is exactly that...SLAP STICK. If you read Trolling Around as a serious story driven comic, you are TROLLING yourself. It's a slap stick fantasy story, and it gets its point across perfect. This is a great comic, I give it a 7/10. Atleast when I read HER comic I don't stare at page after page blankly, until SOMETHING interesting happens that makes me perk up. And as a fan of her other comics, you should be ashamed Harkovast. She considered you a fan and a friend. You ripped her comic to peices in this review for no other reason then to be mean.

Wow? We still do these? AND we are announcing our contest winner? We are too good to these people!
