I should have made Simon's apartment complex a one-story building… those stairs are more trouble to draw than they're worth. Oh well, I guess I'm stuck with them now. Maybe I'll just hit the building with a meteorite or something… hehe
Hehe, funny you should mention that, I took drafting classes back in high school (way back when David Lee Roth ruled the world).
Actually, most of the camera angles on the next few updates tend to end up with the stairs juuuuust out of frame for some reason. ;-)
I'm thinking that once you start bringing the camera in closer the stairs will pretty much become just a vague background shape. In other words, you won't need these establishing shots that force you to put in all that detail. You are an excellent draftsman.
Hands and feet with toes are possibly two of the most difficult things to draw and keep in perspective, one of many reasons I gave up the idea of drawing many many years ago.
@Vindu - I really need to work on the consistency with my hands. Some come out really well (I really liked the ones I did in my Halloween one last update), but some aren't as well done. There's more hands in the next update.
