Butler: *Just found an empty room with a treasure box in the middle* ..... Fuck. *The box opens to reveal a massive amount of sharp teeth and some kind of red pear in the middle of it, it also seems attached to the box by some muscles, the eyes above the lock on the outside of the box then open* Butler: I hate mimics...

(Still destracted by the after effects of the dream demon, Kaede is suddenly bound in chains, as a being hidden under a bed sheet appears infront of her) ????: Now let's see what makes you tick. (phazes his hand inside her head, unlocking long surpressed memories) (As it turns out, Orochi was a decent father while she was growing up, and even managed to balance raising her with his business. When she was deemed old enough, he revealed their demon status, and showed her how the humans had hunted all the peaceful demons to extinction, based on a myth that all demons are evil, Ironically, only leaving the evil demons alive. When she refuses to marry a dragon and bare a powerful heir, Orochi has her brainwashed to make her more supservent. It backfires, as it only awakens her locked away rage coming naturally from her demon heratige. As an after effect, she looses most of her memory, Orochi becomes cold and distant to her, and she resents him for it, eventually taking on the roll of Cheshire, as suggested by Kami, who may have already been a supervillain at the time)

Anthony: Found survivors and is working his way through the base.
ulthor at 3:14PM, June 8, 2010
(Can't be on after this post today, grandfather doesn't wants me on the com today.... I'm surprised that so little has been posted though.)
Warbeast at 3:36PM, June 7, 2010
Morgana: (shakes herself back to reality) Glad to be a help. Lets not do that again.
Kaede Higuchi at 3:34PM, June 7, 2010
[Btw, Max, Blood wants you on the chat]
Kaede Higuchi at 3:28PM, June 7, 2010
Kaede: *smirks* Seems you have a use after all! *slashes down on the demon, then rushes through the halls, slashing down every single demon she encounters*
Warbeast at 3:27PM, June 7, 2010
Max: Alright. (finds the map) Looks like sector 38 is the closest. Lets see whats up there. (runs off)
ulthor at 3:22PM, June 7, 2010
(Hmm, I hadn't thought of it that way yet, but your right, it is kinda like Spawn huh? And my grandfather wants me off of the com already, so sorry guys, but I gotta go already, I hope you can handle this without me.) Butler: *Talking to Max thanks to the communication pin he gave to the others* Look for a yellow wall and hold your hand against it, it should register your badge and verify you that way, a 3D map will then appear on it and you can see any part of it separately, that should help you Max.
Warbeast at 3:12PM, June 7, 2010
(Just like Spawn.) Max: Alright, this sector is clear, now wheres a map? Morgana: Look out! (A dream demon grabs KAede from behins, its influence forcing ehr into a dream state, however, due to sharing her body, Morgana is tranced into beleaving the dream, while Kaede is still free)
ulthor at 3:05PM, June 7, 2010
(Just attack whatever you feel like and work your way to survivors, save them and let them fight with you, till we have killed enough of them.) Butler: *Doing some what appears to be acrobatics, as he kills several demons with his cape, which seems to be attacking them on its own* I hope I find some people soon.... Preferably females, my life energy is being drained by my cape. (His cape is actually a sentient being that acts like a parasite, it drains his life energy and in return he protects him, he also has a sword which is also a parasite like this and can increase his abilities tenfold, but he lost that at one point in his life and he hasn't found it yet, both can survive without him while they go dormant and rest, but they can't be used without life energy.)
Kaede Higuchi at 3:02PM, June 7, 2010
Kaede: *rolls her eyes* Jeez... *pulls with such strength she rips its tentacles off, then quickly and gracefully comes down on it with both her blades, chopping him like an onion* Easy.
Dreamweaver at 2:48PM, June 7, 2010
Anthony: *gets surrounded by crazed demons and he starts shooting however not used to using hand guns the kickback burns his hands and he throws them down and pulls out his spray paint drawing a pole and using that as a weapon instead.
Warbeast at 2:45PM, June 7, 2010
Ya. Elves on the other hand, mostly live in citys formed from trees or the like, sometimes residing in entirely magic domains (sea elves literally live on floating ice cities...in the South Sea) Ironically, the elves are a fantasy surrogate for Americans. Max: (takes down a big demon by having him sucked out an airlock) Happy landings, sucker! (A nother Shorgoth binds up Kaedes arms and legs in its tenticals) Morgana: Yep, a lot of my dates end like this.
Dreamweaver at 2:36PM, June 7, 2010
Should we have monsters attack other people? I can't think of anything I'd want to attack right now honestly.
Kaede Higuchi at 2:32PM, June 7, 2010
Kaede: *goes where she is told* Meh, I hope I get some fun out of this. *readies her blades*
ulthor at 2:28PM, June 7, 2010
(Cause then it should be easy to make stuff like an automated sentry gun, you could make defenses all around you when necessary.) (I see, so instead of electricity, they'd have power lines fused with magic then huh?)
Dreamweaver at 2:19PM, June 7, 2010
possibly I haven't mostly because I don't want to god mode why?
Warbeast at 2:09PM, June 7, 2010
Most of the world has facimilys for modern conveniences (like scrying walls in place of T.V.) Goblins have hyper adnanced desil-punk tech (including robots, a flying city, and eves a space station) Elves and vampires are the only ones that can actually use magic naturally, everyone else just harneses it from a sorce, like electricity.
ulthor at 2:06PM, June 7, 2010
(That reminds me, can you make organic creatures with that spray can aswell, Anthony?)
Dreamweaver at 2:04PM, June 7, 2010
Anthony: right I'm on it. *runs off to his section pulling out a spray can* (Going to have to rethink my fighting strategy without warping.)
ulthor at 2:04PM, June 7, 2010
(You mean like magitech, or something like advanced magic or infused magic?)
Warbeast at 1:59PM, June 7, 2010
And heres the best part. It's not strictly swords and sorcery. It's set during WW2, if the world had advanced with magic instead of technology.
ulthor at 1:56PM, June 7, 2010
(I see, I kinda meant that I wondered when Anthony and the others would reply though.... Although Anthony has already replied now, and I kinda like your ideas Max.) (And Anthony, Butler has already said that that badge would let their powers work, as long as they have it with them, no teleporting or warping though.)

Well, story wise, the adventuring party in Grind quest is not your typical RPG heroes, or even the typical Parody RPG heroes. Angelo Moriarty, the elf gambler who seems to think like a Shonen hero, often getting his ass handed to him due to overconfidence, and a bit annoying due to his endlessly up beat and cheery atitude, Hector Von Hammer, the cyborg goblin is a brilliant military strategist, but has a very short fuse. He even chose a physical class (Which goblins normally cant do) Just because someone told him he was too week to fight as one...turns out they were right, and he does very little damage. Khan McLeoud, the strait man, who is ironically, the strangest looking. He is a Minutian (leprechaun) Who is only 6 inches tall. As such, he is stealthy and fast, but very week. He even fights with a pair of sewing pins that he wields like short swords. Rolf Guard: A monk who is very much a parody of the well meaning idiot of many anime stories. He is somewhat similar to Goku. Alice: A human gunslinger, the most ironic class, as she started off as a frigtend girl, nearly killed for being possessed by a demon. It later turns out that the demon created her from a white rabit, so he could use her body later in life, but he is sealed by Max, and later Alice is able to kill him for good. Max: A Lich, with devistating magic power. He is also the kindest and most friendly member of the team. Somewhere between a mentor like figure, and friendly comic relief. He is by far the most powerful attacker. Dorthy: The perfect daughter of the goblin scientist, Hugo. She is a monk with fighting power far exceding even Rolf, and unbelievable super strength. She fills the roll of a friendly, genki girl, and occasionally a louder voice of reason, when Khan is ignored...Did I mention she's a robot? (Later joined by Vctor, a vampire Dreuid, Geko, a Reptilicus ninja, and occasionally Princess, an elven princess who just so happens to be a high level beast master, and on par with Max in terms of attack...although her deadly pets still have cute names, like Sir Snouts, a truck sized razor back boar with tusks like an eliphent.)
