What sound does a microwave make? I remember it as a ping, but its been years since I owned one, and even when I did I never paid it much attention. SOMEONE TELL ME! I NEED TO KNOW!
IS IT A PING!?!
Or is it more like an alarm clock?

Sort of a humming until it's ready, then it generally beeps...depending on the microwave.
