p21 - Disruption Yellow 3
Redemption on April 17, 2009
I've been working a bit furiously over the past few days to get this extra update out as a thank you to all of you. :]
I'm hugely grateful to all the friendly people on Drunkduck I've met over page comments up to page 20. Hi and thanks also to everyone who has popped in to check out Timeloss this week.
And another massive thank you, to the person responsible for choosing to feature Timeloss.

Holy crap! Who the hell is this guy? He looks like hes afraid rather then agressive, and he doesn't seem to be speaking. My guess is that he has some sort of disease or curse on him...perhaps that is what they were fleeing at the start?
SplicerParade at 4:42AM, Aug. 29, 2009
WHAT THE FUUUUU- Okay, that ninja reminds me of the demons from Princess Mononoke. It's the red blood/worm things. Freaky as all hell. :D
Redemption at 12:20AM, July 25, 2009
El Cid: Definitely. Irritating things, they are. Ryan Scott: I wonder if we can get one of those for our farm... fencing's a real chore.
Ryan_Scott at 2:55PM, May 25, 2009
It's a bionic fencing contractor!!!
El Cid at 6:43AM, May 18, 2009
Ooh man, don'tcha just hate those pesky grass ninjas!
Redemption at 1:45AM, May 1, 2009
ONASAKI: Well you did nail it pretty well!
Onasaki at 6:28PM, April 23, 2009
XD Yeah, I'm good with that kinda stuff. :P
Redemption at 4:52PM, April 22, 2009
Onasaki: Wow, thank you! Is it too much of a give away to say that you're bang on? Probably not as I did pick the title hoping for that impression. I'm impatient to get to certain points in the story.. I'm hoping to get some time mid-year to build a massive buffer and update more often. ;)
Onasaki at 4:28PM, April 22, 2009
Wow, I just read the whole archive(not much, I know, but still) and I'm really REALLY curious about where the comic gets it's name.. Although I have a theory. Something about time travel. The art is really good too. Can't wait to see what happens next, totally faved and rating 5!
Redemption at 2:07AM, April 22, 2009
Jasorka: Moody? Allow me to assume that's a good thing. ;) Thank you very much, I'll definitely try. GoldenMan: Do you mean the distortion bits Jonko asked about? Definitely something I hope to bring up in more detail later (though that's nothing new in this comic, sorry). The attacker wouldn't have to endure the distortions if he had adequate knowledge and skill, though...
GoldenMan at 10:02PM, April 21, 2009
so, why do these guys not have the doodads? but i suppose learn that later, huh?
Jasorka at 7:42PM, April 21, 2009
This is a really fun and moody comic! Keep up the great work :)
Redemption at 5:26PM, April 21, 2009
Stig Hemmer: Thank you very much. I've just been and will keep on trying my best to do a good job with this comic. I haven't read Stephen King but I have heard of him. A very complimentary comparison for me, haha! I'm very glad you find the world a bit believable, too. I hope I don't break it too much. ;) Starwolf: Thanks for the rating. Amanda: Great minds think alike! I privately dub him 'futuristic pyscho ninja'. Should have thought of using those staples... Theorah: Its difficult to find a good balance between switching scenes too early and floundering on in one setting. I'm still learning. Thank you. Patoboracho: Not entirely sure what the 'YESS!' is about, but thank you very much.
patoborracho at 12:35PM, April 21, 2009
congrats! YESS!!!
theorah at 10:20AM, April 20, 2009
oooh interesting artwork, quirky and exaggerated :) Liking the quick switch between scenes too, very nice! Keep up the good work! :)
amanda at 8:11AM, April 20, 2009
It's a creepy bug-infested ninja! *aaaaaaaaaugh!* Shouldn't have spit out those staples - could have bitten it.
Stig Hemmer at 5:51PM, April 19, 2009
Just found this comic through the feature and read through it. Wow. Amazing stuff! Your art is just gorgeous and the story looks very interesting so far. I love the way you make this world so utterly believable and then ... break it. Shades of Stephen King. (I hope you like him! :) )

SoraNezumi: XD Lovely. It'd be so fun to do a caption contest or something with panels taken out of context. The worst thing I've ever had on my shoulder would have to have been a fast-moving weta.. Jonko: There's no need to thank me, but thank YOU. Oh indeed, the colours take me white a while, but laying down the flat colours behind complicated shapes is the most timeconsuming, heh. I hope to explain more about the attacker in coming pages but basically the sparks are.. nasty poisonous distortions. Or something like that. :]
SoraNezumi at 8:49PM, April 18, 2009
Last Panel: "There's a SPIDER on your shoulder!" "Get it off! Get it OFF!!"
Jonko at 8:39PM, April 18, 2009
Thanks so much for the extra update!!! I always love how amazing your pages are. They must take so long to do! The attacker is especially drawn really well. What are those sparks around him supposed to be?
Redemption at 12:47PM, April 18, 2009
Armando B: Thank you. I try to work with different colours in each scene. Flup: I didn't have the chance to experiment so much with lighting until I started this comic, its a great chance to learn. Thank you. Lilac: Thank you. I tried to put in a few special effects for this one. Heh its all good, hope you're enjoying the weekend. Whirlwynd; Thanks for the rating.
Lilac at 9:46AM, April 18, 2009
Oh this page is so cool. ^^ I hope he'll be okay. D': Guh, I'm tired. I can't think of anything intelligent to say. XDD
Flup at 9:22AM, April 18, 2009
Your art is amazing. I particularly like the way you do different types of lighting :)
armandoB at 8:54AM, April 18, 2009
Really nice colors. Congrats on the feature.
Redemption at 4:00AM, April 18, 2009
Emily E: Wow, you were incredibly quick off the mark with that comment! Thank you. I really appreciate all your comments since I first started posting on DD. You find that scary? Woohoo! Doctor Shadow: Creepy? I think that's good too... Thank you.
