p23 - Disruption Yellow 5
Redemption on April 29, 2009
More dish-washing fun and the question Matthew was dying to ask two pages ago. Originally this was meant to be page 22. I'm glad it wasn't.
I don't know if I mentioned that I hand-letter this, but its relaxing to do so.
Occasionally I'll be firing out extra Timeloss art here. Fanart too, eventually.

Aha! Thought it was hand-lettered. I have a soft spot for hand-lettered comics. :D

Thanks, Ryan. I'm still trying to learn a lot at once with it, haha.

DOCTOR SHADOW: Thank you. I decided to letter it myself after getting frustrated trying to find an interesting font. N Y JAPLANDER: Thank you. New Zealand gets the odd shake too, but not where I live, thank goodness. I hope you don't get them often where you are! DAJB: Thanks for the rating, DAJB. JONKO: To be honest, I type the text in Tahoma first, then use that as a template so that the letter spacing works out. My usual handwriting is far more spidery. Thank you. AMANDA: I looked into making a font out of it... but couldn't find any free software packages or or spare time! But thank you, I'm very glad you like the text. We have a fair few so-called inactive volcanoes around New Zealand... I hope those and your fault line stay dormat for a loooong while! STARWOLF: Thanks for the rating. EMILY ELIZABETH: Thanks for the rating. 'Holy bolony' meaning the page? ....thank you? :] LILAC: The hand-lettering only takes around 30mins a page, depending on how much dialogue there is. I enjoy it so its worth it! Nope, its not just you. I had to rush the linework through this week and after scanning realised I hadn't drawn the eyes properly. I made a few revisions on the computer but the size of the eyeball and iris are still off. I'll be watching out for it closely in future though, thanks for pointing it out! :]

So that's your handwriting? :3 Hooray for hand-lettering! Who needs font? X3 And oh no! Poor Matthew. Some advice with the eyes, in that last panel you should've made his right eyeball a tad bit bigger so that it could look even with the left one (I hope I'm getting my left and rights right). Of course...looking at it again I'm beginning to wonder if maybe it's just me...hm. XD Okay..nevermind. I think it's just me.
Emily Elizabeth at 10:56AM, April 30, 2009
Holy bolony!!!

Wow, hand lettering? I want a font of your handwriting XD We don't get many earthquakes here, even though we're on a giant fault line. They SAY it's inactive =p
Jonko at 7:59AM, April 30, 2009
You have great handwriting! I had no clue that you hand lettered it. Keep up the good work!
n_y_japlander at 6:27AM, April 30, 2009
I would like to know when one hits here... Japan gets earthquakes all the time... Great page as usual!!
Doctor Shadow at 6:06AM, April 30, 2009
Nice! Love the hand lettering.
