Very nice render and very nice story told. The filmstrip approach would be monotonous for a hand-drawn comic, but for a CG comic it works, and is probably clearer than a conventional comics page layout.
IMO, the dialogue has way too much of that pretentious comic book feel, as in "[i]WTH, nobody ever talks like this.[/i]" However, since the entire series has that [u]Tales From The Crypt[/u] feel to it, it's entirely appropriate. It wouldn't work for any other genre, off the top of my head.
