Coloring Tip #2:
Shading with color:
Remember these rules…if you like the way tygar is colored.
Every color has a “shadow color”, so, if you've got a blue shirt, its “shadow” is either a darker blue or purple, understand?
Here's the list:
Yellow's shadow = dark orange or red
Orange's shadow = nice warm browns
Red's shadow = Purple usually, sometimes a dark burgundy
Light violet's shadow = dark violet color (should be a different colored pencil!)
Violet/Purple's shadow = DARK blue, navy blue
Light blue's shadow = DARK blue (once again different colored pencil)
Blue's shadow = DARK violet (see it gets trickier here, pay attention!)
Green's shadow = DARK burgundy or dark blue
Light green's shadow = dark green, forest or darker
Brown's shadow = usually a darker brown
Dark brown's shadow = of no other dark brown exists, use the darkest violet you have, if that doesn't exist, result to black but only as a last resort!
Tan's shadow = brown, plain and simple
Grey's shadow = darker grey
Dark grey's shadow = ONLY time black is really used
I know I spell grey funny but its the way I learned, I learned gray later, grey is the british way and I use it *shrugs*
Stay tuned for further tips!

“So take these words and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again
I wish everyone was loved tonight
and somehow stop this endless fight
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days.”
