Happy Holidays everyone! I worked hard on this colored image for the holiday season :) I hope you like it.

Colored Pencil Tip #3:
Using the color pencil's “Pure/Potential color”
Don't be afraid to color in an area with a little force with your colored pencil, using the colored pencil's “pure color” versus just using it lightly to color an area. Sometimes when you color lightly, the area doesn't look very solid but more like lines and if you just choose a light colored pencil to begin with and color with its “pure color”, it will look more like a solid color than if you would use a dark colored pencil lightly.
So, if you need a light green, find a light green colored pencil and color with that instead of coloring lightly with a dark green. This is when having a lot of shades and colored pencils comes in handy. If you don't have the light desired color, try to color with the dark pencil in light circles versus back and forth and then go over that with the white colored pencil (discussed earlier in the author's notes, I think on tygar page #24). Sorry there wasn't one on the last page! I decided to have a little break from the tips lol. Happy Reading and Happy Holidays!
