@KimLuster - I agree about the "dream" ending...it's usually a cop out of the worst kind. Weirdly, I remember liking that ending of "Boxing Helena" in a way. I was so disturbed by the film it was a relief that it wasn't "real". The image of the limbless woman yelling at that guy...upsetting. Wow! It was MANY years ago I saw that flick, and it's come back to me now. Freaky, freaky movie. And not in a good way. haha.

Yeah, Boxing Helena is the Movie, and yes, the 'Doc' ends up taking off her arms too, and she ends up falling for him anyway... very disturbing... and then it all turns about to be 'Just a Dream'. The movie Jacob's Ladder was the same way....Grrrr. 'Dream' movies can be done well (Inception, once again), but if not, they come off as an ass-pull, and it's quite frustrating (unless it's done for Humor, then anything goes as long as it's funny :))

Is that...Boxing Helena? I think I saw that...the one where a guy's crush is in a car crash and he keeps her in his house...and she ends up (maybe) with no arms? That was disturbing. If I'm thinking of the right flick...haha...
