Thanks folks :) @Liddy672: Yep, watercolour. I guess it does look kinda like coffee, which is appropriate, since Dom drinks a lot of the stuff ;) @Razzy Jazz: You bet! We're focusing on building intrigue at this point, but we'll get to the action before too long. @smkinoshita: Trying to capture that balance has been part of the challenge of this, as well as a lot of fun. It's great having the room to push both her tough and sensitive sides :)

Really dig the writing of these inner monologues, the observations have a sort of sharp honesty to them. Something which is only furthered by the great figure drawings. So yeah, nice page :)

Can't help but say how adorable she is in the last panel. Yes I know she's a tough detective but still... she's tiny and cute. (The two aren't mutually exclusive; my wife is taller than I am... and cute)
