She's not really scary, just intimidating, even though she's only about 5'5. The kid doesn't recognise Dom, she's just curious. Dom would look kinda out of place loitering outside a school ;) She's clearly a bad influence, and kids tend to find that appealing. I certainly wouldn't approach her; she looks like she'd beat me up just for looking at her the wrong way, and no doubt she reeks of nicotine. Yuck. To put it bluntly, she's seriously hot, but she's also kinda gross.

That's funny... she seemed to recognize her. You'd think that someone looking like Dei would be more approachable... even if she's pulling the tough-girl-smoking-and-leaning routine.
