Sammi actually added to the monologue in the first panel after I raised the question of Dom's persuasiveness. Dom's argument was always leading somewhere, but I think the new script definitely clarifies her line of thinking.
We've just discovered that the weekly webcomic format is both a blessing and a curse: yes, it's far too easy to jump to premature conclusions. But it also allows us to address concerns along the way. It'd suck to be bombarded with letters bemoaning our incompetence AFTER a print edition has hit the shelves.
Yeah, I think it's safe to assume Selune has a lot going on between those doe ears ;)
Wildcard - The funny thing is that Dom's gesture in that 4th panel is really just a happy coincidence. She's simply counting off her facts, and it wasn't until I'd drawn that panel that I realised just how suggestive it is! Don't know yet if Sammi agrees, but I think it's rather appropriate :)
(And it's not something we've discussed, but in my head I always imagined Dom to have something of an English accent. It just seemed to fit her persona.)
Well thought out. Excuse my own premature conclusions - I'll just shut up and read from henceforth :)
Gotta love the inadvertent defiant V in the fourth panel, it's so... English...
Good think for Ms. V that the boss isn't stupid either (a stupid boss would have just killed her without a thought to potential back-up or consequences... but a stupid boss wouldn't have set up such a quiet operation either)
