A double update today.

I saw Dead Space: Downfall over the weekend and thought it was quite bad. A bunch of ideas ripped off from Aliens, The Thing and other horror movies, but there were some interesting touches.
I'm looking forward to playing the game though; but the movie really seemed like too much of an afterthought.

I also saw Fears of the Dark, which I would recommend you rush out to watch. I admit it isn't too scary, but the artwork is beautiful, and some of the stories are disturbing. Charles Burn's piece, about a loser who picks up an insect in the woods that morphs into his first girlfriend, remains etched in my mind for its ending.
