See you later Zug, its back to Blighty we go!
Back in issue four, we saw Janine (aka Godiva) in conversation with her sister, promising to pay her a visit after the promo event was over. Well, heres her making that visit
I'm pretty pleased with the way this page turned out :)
Have you nominated Vanguard for a Duck award? See the previous page!
Thanks for any/all feedback

Any food scarfed down by these hooligans is food wasted.

That's a interesting story, Mac. I mean, what wouldn't you do to provide for you family? In the Vanguard storyline, Godiva, being in a similar situation, has given money to her sis to buy extra food as they are not surviving on their Government rations. Morally, this is dubious, as where did this food come from? Was it stolen from another hungry mouth? What will happen to people who cannot afford to buy food from the black market? What are they capable of? Theft? Murder? Like I said, what wouldn't you do to provide for your family? It has been suggestted that 'Society is three square meals away from anarchy'. The fabric of society in the Vanguard universe is almost at breaking point... the scarcity of food being a contributing factor. As always, thanks Mac and Ply for reading and taking the time to comment!

I heard a story once from a retired police officer I met once who said that one time during the depression there was a train filled with food and the people actually stood on the tracks to stop it. Once it stopped they proceeded to strip all the food off the train and eat it there. The police were of course called in but the guy said that he took one look at how hungry the people were, looked at the other police officers and they just stood by and let it happen... this page really reminds me of that
