Well we made it back in once piece. Check out the Philly Pictures thread in the forum later tonight to see some picture of Amelius and myself from the convention.

Any sold pictures, did a few sketches and sold pipe cleaner Jackalopes. The pictures didn't move at all but we sold out of the Jacaalopes so that is a good start.

Wow DD has some really cool people. I don't think I realized full what an amazing little community we have here until I was sitting at that table chatting it up with my fellow creators. Its great! Even though we didn't know each other we got along like old friends. It was so much fun to talk with everyone and swap stories. I really got some great advice, it was well worth all the trouble and expense it took to get there.

Plus now I'm reading several more comics since talking with the creators. Another really cool thing was how everyone was swapping art. I got some really amazing pictures while I was there from some of DD finest and I've got them proudly hanging in my cubical now.

Well DD table aside my prize from the convention was my Advent Children Cloud Action figure (who is now posed battling a jitter black wind up toy) & my discounted copy of Infnite Crisis.

The crisis wasn't all its was cracked up to be but belive it or not I'm not very currious about the Uncle Sam character. I didn't think it was possible but I rather enjoyed his team the “Freedom Force” (I think anyway) in the comic series and I'm very currious to see what the heck can be done with such a strange and odd character especially given how limited a range you are typically allowed with patriotic characters. I might well be disapointed when I finally pick up an issue but I heard rumor at the con that Grant Morrison was writting it so I might not be. I didn't really enjoy his last project the Seven Soldiers of Victory which took another set of normally awful characters and did a pretty good job with almost all of them. So if Grant can make me love Frankenstine just maybe he can win me over with Uncle Sam. I guess I'll just have to find out next time I get down to my local comic shop.
