Oh, and each of the Nations power it differently. WCE use Nuclear Fision, The UIA use mostly Gas and Electric, and the NAA use Hydrogen or Fresh Water Powered MIR'S.
OH, sorry for the lack of updating, but the lack of a scanner up at my grandpa's isn't allowing me to upload. . . I might post a "Thanksgiving" Or a normal comic on Friday and Saturday or something of the sort to catch up.
"Low on power" depends on what they are powered by. Diesel? Nuclear core? Ominous non-specified super power source?
And as for ammo: since they probably do not operate for a long time outside their army, so they should usually be supplyed.
For long-time recon or infiltration missions I would recommend mechs with laser or akin weapons which do not depend on bullets.
Yes, but what if the mechs low on power? Or out of ammo? Also, mechs are used as a support for charging armies, so if they meet another mech, Might as well just decimate the cabin, and the driver.
I've never been quite a fan of mechas who tear each other apart with close distance weapons. I mean, usually they can have long range lasers and rockets and things and have a sophisticated sensor system and all they can do is close combat damage? Hit each other with their fists and claws and energy-whipes? In that case I'd call air support and bomb 'em away. Or with my long-range artillery. Or something else. Just my thoughts on their tactical benefit.
