Oh snap! This is based on something that happened to me when I was working my first job, which was at a coffee shop. It wasn't this messy, but it did involve dropping an entire tray of dishes on my second or third day. I think that was the first of many times that my boss offered to slide a pencil into my ear like my head was a sharpener. I think it was meant with some endearment to it.
I didn't slip on anything and didn't hit my head, but there was still stuff that got broken.

i busted a rack of dishes with an industrial dish washer. still havent figured that one out.
