Now, the background for the first panel isn't too bad. The perspective works fine, and it's not too busy, but not to sparse. Thumbs up there.
However, (yes I know it's a pain) it's the only actual background on the page. I've done this too. Though again, it really does make it look more professional to do a real background as often as you can. (And again, I should take a page from my own book)
Anywho... LOVE the dress Mikane has. You must have good fasion sense.
And also again, (I'm like a broken record who uses too many parenthesis) while the exaggeratedly large, fanged, angry-anime head is pretty typical, you do pull it off well. I consider well done cliche's to override the cliche' bit personally.
Though, practice profile vew a tad perhaps. I realize it's a difficult view. Probably the second most next to say, a low-point perspective on a person's head. (I hate those)
My advice is to perhaps shorten the nose, mainly from the tip to the nostral, (hehe).
