And we switch to what Fotis is doing in the same time! The microfilm is hidden, and the nazis have no reason or way of knowing. ;) For some reason, though I bet it doesn't look it, this page's backgrounds really killed me. But I hope you enjoy anyway!
Jerrie: Thanks!
Bravo: Thank you! I did try. And it's true, everyone breaks, the question is how that breaking manifests.
Abt_Nihil: It was maybe more tie consuming in the previous page but in this one the perspectives were far tougher. About the priest, we'll see! >:)
The care and attention to detail is evident in the backgrounds. They really capture the interior of the Orthodox church. As for breaking under questioning? Everyone breaks after three days. Even if one doesn't they will tell the interrogator what he wants to hear.
The backgrounds (and the rest) are great as usual, but I'd have assumed the backgrounds on the previous page were much harder to do!
Maybe Fotis should sew the sole back on, so no one will suspect there even was a microfilm on him...
And I actually had that same uneasiness usedbooks expressed when reading the page. The priest's noticing the missing sole, and the panel of silence was enough to make my heart skip a beat ;-)
Darwin: Agreed! Though really it's just Fotis forgetting to screw it back on in his fervor to hide the microfilm effectively.
usedbooks: Oh! Heh heh... then carry on. :P
Dragonrider: It could be! Many sincere people, earnest people broke under 'questioning' and it haunted them to death afterwards. We'll see.
Usedbooks: Thank you! I'm happy they are appreciated :) Maybe it's not anything the priest did, but my author's notes :p
I love the backgrounds (as always). You always do a good job on them, and I can't fathom what it takes to make them. (Like all good art, it's magic to me. :) ) I'm not sure why I suddenly felt a twinge of suspicion for the priest. I feel bad for feeling it. -_- But I guess it is the type of setting where suspicion is better than trust most of the time. If you suspect the wrong people, the consequences aren't so dire as those of misplaced trust.

Well here's hoping that heel doesn't pop off at the wrong moment if they find the man!! Cause then there will be questions!

Nope. That was the uneasy feeling I got reading the page. ;) Before I read your notes.

Hmmmm Given the introduction to the series the Father probably is not as resistant to "questioning" by the Gestapo as Fotis. Great Page.
