…and anyone who claims they expected what happened here, is probably lying ;)
Thanks everyone who commented and visited the Art of Veiling page! Please keep coming, and step in for a chat, will you? ;)
Ok, responds! (from both the last chapter 3 page and chapter 4 cover)
ozoneocean: I really spend time choosing the gradients so that they too are a code :) I am glad you like them. As for the scythe- I was going for perspective, but massive works, too XD
I heart artists: here you go! Update ;) I'm glad you are enjoying the comic so far, and welcome aboard!
kindofsnake: hehe. It's not politically correct, fingerpointing.
pinkdiapers: I'm glad you are back! Hope you like today's page too.
Locoma: Well, I guess today's page answers that question. Though there is a chance that something went wrong ;) Or very right. We will see, won't we? And Zoe didn't take her scythe along, and look what happened! Every time she doesn't take it along, stuff happens.
Michael T: Thanks :) I had fun colouring it.
Darwin: here you go, more :) How do you like how the story is unfolding?
Brogan: Welcome aboard! Thanks!
Wingnut: Thanks for the compliment- takes one to know one, apparently ;) I study my characters before letting them loose on the audience. hehe.
Peipei: thanks! I think we needed a joke.
Dracco: thank you :) I'm thinking of making one for every chapter left from now on. Maybe.
carrollhach: thankees!
Joff: Reason why she didn't take it… and wishes she did.
And that's all! Thanks everyone, and see you all soon!
You know, you mentioned that you use the colour gradients symbolically and I was going to say in the last story page I could see that - yellow is anger and there was a LOT of yellow around; red is also anger, but of a more sudden type, where yellow is a simmering rage. Then the twin opened the door and where she is there is purple and blue, all calmness and quiet - just in the doorway - it's still all yellow and angry inside the room. It was very effective. How do I know about yellow = anger? Yeah, well, our company, being REALLY freakin' stupid, when they moved us into our new building, since they no longer had any windows for us to look out, decided to paint the walls a nice "cheery" colour ... yellow. And it's telemarketing (inbound, but still). You better believe there are a lot of short fuses in that joint on a given day. *rolls eyes*
hey, i make my return and am now up to date with your comic. Sorry for my absence, by the way (though reading lots of strips in one long reading is always lots of fun). I must say your story's taken some pretty interesting turns lately, especially with Zou Zou becoming the character of focus, I always thought she was going to be there just for comic relief. Anyway, keep up the good work. You rock Tantz
OMG raven??
after all the t-shirts zoe sacrificed for you!
man I wasn't expecting that at all
3rd panel poses are great. I also like zoe's blue jacket. I love jackets!! zoe and my character mark share clothes now :-D
somehow the happy face of zou zou tells me that there is more than meets the eye
Eep, why's she threatening to kill them now? O_O; This is a heck of a plot twist.
Also, I'm still finding Zou-Zou's eternal happiness amusing. xD I love the fourth panel.
Twisted...very twisted. But if there was anyone who couldn't be counted on from what I've seen its Raven. Did I expect that...no...
Wonder what her purpose is?
Good page, excellent work on the pallbearers and such!
It's a very effective threat...
Nice perspective on the coffin, well done with the crowd coming out too. I always find overlapping faces and people pretty tough to draw.

She looks WAY too happy for it to be hurting her more...
