I am not only late with this update- I also hate this page. I was all very excited about it when pencilling it and inking it… until I started to colour it and it went downhill from there. Meh. In the end, my tablet started to be insubordinate too. AH well. I hope you, at least, will enjoy it! :)
Anyway here is a pretty important pivot in the story. I am not sure it is conveyed well, but Zoe attacking the lab rat (and over exerting herself with that stunt) was the straw that broke the camel's back in her stamina against the disease. If you recall from Chapter 2, she gave Raven an injection of her anti-virus serum, but she forgot to give herself one.
Looks like it's time Dave takes over. Are you scared? Hehe.

Locoma: It does look grim for Mike indeed. However, he is the one leading the team for the wolf virus, so maybe they don't want to own him… to the death. Yet. Maybe. Hm. And Zoe didn't turn to the dark side but that doesn't make things all that much better. XD Damn, I am cruel to my characters.

Darwin: Unfortunately Zou-Zou did get spotted. Which caused everything in the last two pages. The mysterious stranger is a lab rat. I don't like him very much. The book fair was a blast! Everyone loved the book! Eeeee!
Peipei: We will learn what happened to Mike soon enough. But while Mike is a character that likes surprises, he wouldn't want Dave or Zou-zou for their blood. ;)
Michael T: Of course she is! And little kids often play a lead role in peoples' lives.

Agree with Darwin, but I understand. Sometimes things don't go the way we want... it can get really frustrating. Although, as a reader I don't see what's wrong with it, I love it! First panel is so intense... I'm too worried about Zoe to look at this page's art :-( I don't want to look at all!! :'(
WEll I think you're being too hard on yourself, this came out really well. I think you did a lot with the motion in the page and the look on Zoe's face in cell one is GGGGGRRREEAT!. Excellent job overall!
