Stars on the Water, Page 9

We've been running since October 10th on Comic Fury and DeviantArt, but only now - the early morning hours of July 24th - are things going up on Drunk Duck. I'll be including both my comments and those of the artist, Adam Cowie, and I'll be updating this in the future alongside those other two sources. I hope everyone enjoys. I will upload Wright as Rayne through the night and the sister story, The Black Princess, will come in the next couple of days.

Yeah, originall was going to try and totally keep out showing people's thoughts in WaR, though it's not too big of a loss having to do it here. Not a whole lot else to say about this page, though. Not one of my favorites and there's not a whole lot going on, but it gets its job done well enough. Might as well make a note, though, that graffiti is something to keep an eye on from here. One page that will be up in a few weeks in particular has a few things worth watching for on the walls.

Oh. Great. I just make a speech about how I thought the art got better from here on out and we come to this.It uh… Took some time before I learned how to draw in side-profile, hence why Alex looks so weird in the third panel. But that's nothing compared to that weird tendril, which is supposed to be a pillar of water slapping him across the face. Martin's colors fortunately took the edge off that.Speaking of, Gaspeed's speech bubble and that little mini-panel weren't going to be in it originally, but I was just too crappy an artist to convey that Alex was faking Gaspeed out without it.
