Stars on the Water, Page 10

Lizuka on July 23, 2011

We've been running since October 10th on Comic Fury and DeviantArt, but only now - the early morning hours of July 24th - are things going up on Drunk Duck. I'll be including both my comments and those of the artist, Adam Cowie, and I'll be updating this in the future alongside those other two sources. I hope everyone enjoys. I will upload Wright as Rayne through the night and the sister story, The Black Princess, will come in the next couple of days.
Martin's Comments
One funny thing Adam forgot to mention is in addition to sizing restrictions requiring this and the last page to be split up it also cost Ellen a line; she was supposed to say something here.Nothing of note, though. And who really needs to talk when you can just play around with water as she's doing now?
Adam's Comments
See, now this I'm proud of. I really like the huge group shot with all the villains- it just came out nice. I was so pleased with myself when I saw it done. I think this page and the one before it were meant to be all on the same page, but I told Martin I couldn't cram all that into just one. Most because I needed an entire half a page for this shot. Also I did the design for Ellen, the water-girl. Much of the cooler elements, like her hair being perpetually wet and the gills were thought up by Martin, but I was imperssed with how she came out.Yeah, happy with this page. ^^
