When it's Wright, Page 6

Lizuka on July 23, 2011

We've been running since October 10th on Comic Fury and DeviantArt, but only now - the early morning hours of July 24th - are things going up on Drunk Duck. I'll be including both my comments and those of the artist, Adam Cowie, and I'll be updating this in the future alongside those other two sources. I hope everyone enjoys. I will upload Wright as Rayne through the night and the sister story, The Black Princess, will come in the next couple of days.
Martin's Comments

I'm not usually one to comment on the art, but I would like to make a point to ask once more for some patience with it. This was while Adam was still getting back to the tablet after months and months of being unable to use it, but things improve rapidly from here.Next week's page's writing likely won't help, though. Wall of text time - still, it beats dragging out the exposition across six weeks or something I suppose.Plus side, first confirmation that Sarabeth's hair color isn't natural.
Adam's Comments
Yeah, not much to say on the art here. Not really good, and while it's bad, it isn't quite what I'd call terrible. No big nit-picks besides that one really terrible side-profile shot of Alex in the last panel. And the shakey background. God, do those need help. But yeah, artwork does at least get better pretty quickly from here. In case you didn't notice- the speech bubbles since the last comic have been different then the ones we started out with. After this point I started using a new version of Manga Studio that included a speech-bubble function. Prior to that, I had to type the words and then just draw the bubbles around them myself, which made them look really shakey. This is much cleaner and more professional.
