Gibson Twist> Alcohol can only help to fuel the creativity and not make me think sleeping is a better idea... right?
Frogman> If you've never done it, it's the greatest experience a comicker can have crammed in a room with 10 other sweaty comickers working manically on a story and fighting sleep for an entire day.
Villamar> That's pretty much how I imagine it. Originally, when I was going with the three panel format, there was no dream sequence (which would have been sad, because this page was SO fun to draw) and it was three or four different strips of Ben just reaching for the Band and wondering why he's being so hesitant and dramatic about it. Would've been funny, but I far prefer this page in its stead.
silentkitty> There were a lot of fine details, and it took a lot of research to get the style and hieroglyphics right, but I'm really happy with the outcome, and as previously stated, it was pretty fun.
24 hour comic day you say? Eh, maybe next year. This year I don't have the time.
Love the page, although, I did find the main exposition text a little hard to read.

Fan-bloody-tastic. I'm in awe of that Egyptian dream sequence and love that fake-out. :D

This is an awesome comic, I'm really enjoying it so far. :] Looks like that top half took forever, but it was worth it.

I feel there should be dramatic music at the last couple of panels, only to fizzle out with a warbly horn with the last panel. It'd be great!

That is a swanky page! Good exposition with a gag. 24 Hour Comics Day will be a blast, especially when we get hammered drunk at hour 15!
