This page is a great example of how this story has tended to take it's own direction and write itself. Firstly, Zom-Ben was supposed to meet his first villain in the last chapter, and as previously mentioned, it wasn't originally supposed to be Barry the Hatchet. But as the story progressed it seemed to flesh itself out as I created page after page of sequences that were never in the original script.
Nextly, Milton for Hire. This is a character I made up back in high school when my friends and I were all about making skits and short films. I actually dressed up like him (hair and all) at school one day, shouting “MILTON FOR HIII-YER!!!” at every opportunity. Then he was swiftly forgotten. I had no idea he would pop back into my memory just a couple of months ago and make his way into Zom-Ben. I'm glad he did, though. I think he'll make a hilarious addition to the cast.
Thirdly, everyone give a warm welcome to the new official Zom-Ben colourist Dave Olson. It was a hard decision, but I think his work well suits the tone of the comic.
Lastly, don't forget Our Time in Eden. You'll make Gibson and I cry.

Dave's a stud. You chose...wisely.

Milton looks like the Milky Bar Kid...I always wondered what he was doing now! But seriously, he's just plain awesome from those three words and the usage of the word 'maximum' all the time. And totally digging the spiffy colours!

I like the color... I liked the B&W... I guess I just plain like ZomBen.

While I tend to prefer B&W I do like how this looks and I plan to stick around. But I wonder how Zom ben is going to look in colour. Well, have to wait and see. Still a great job as usual.

Haha XD I like it in color, but it lost some of it's 'grungy' edge from before. Still awesome as always

Milton looks hilarious. Can't wait to see more. Colors are little brighter than I was expecting, but you know your story better than I do.

Milton frightens me. The colours are great, they really bring the page to life. I'm still not sure why Bill is giving me the finger in the fourth panel, though.
